Bhindi Masala Recipe ingredients :
1. Preparation Time: 5 Mins, Cook Time: 20 Mins (Approx)
2. Bhindi Or Okra 250 gms
3. Olive Oil 3 Tablespoon
4. Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 1 Teaspoon
5. Green Chilies 4-5 (finely chopped)
6. Dry Red Chili 1-2
7. Garlic 2 Cloves (finely chopped)
8. Ginger Julian 8-9
9. Onion 1-2 (finely chopped)
10. Turmeric Powder 1 Tablespoon
11. Red Chilli Powder 1 Tablespoon
12. Coriander Powder 1 Tablespoon
13. Garam Masala 1 Teaspoon
14. Kasuri Methi 1 Tablespoon
15. Salt to taste.
16. Fresh Coriander leaves to garnish.
Bhindi Masala Recipe Step by Step Process:
1. The First Step is to wash & dry the Okra. Remove the cap & ends. Chop the Okra in 1/2 inch pieces.
2. Now, take a flat bottom pan and add olive oil (or any cooking oil as per your preference) & cumin seeds. Let the cumin seeds crackle for half a minute.
3. Add green chili (finely chopped), Dry Red chili & saute for a minute.
4. Add finely chopped garlic, ginger julienne, and saute for a minute.
5. Now, add chopped onion and saute till it becomes translucent in color.
6. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder and mix it well.
7. Add fresh chopped Okra (Bhindi) . Close the lid for a while. Keep stirring occasionally.
8. Open the lid, add Garam masala, Kasuri methi, salt as per taste and mix it well. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes without closing the lid.
9. Masala Okra(Bhindi) is ready. Garnish with some coriander leaves.
10. Tasty masala Okra(Bhindi) is ready to serve. It goes well with roti, paratha, or dal-chawal.
